 ·       Podiatry is a branch of allied health that focuses on the foot, ankle and lower leg. Podiatry refers to the study of all aspects of the feet and lower leg, including blood supply, muscles, joints, toenails, skin, nerve supply and biomechanics. 

·       A podiatrist is an expert in foot health and factors attributing to the feet and ankle and how they function.
